I started my fitness journey when I was about 16. I started with a trainer online, and was working out from home. When I discovered that my back pain was decreasing and my performance was increasing, I decided after about six months that I'd stick with it. Then, when I went to university, I joined the rowing team as I didn't have a horse to ride in the UK. The part I enjoyed the most about rowing was the lifting- the sheer feeling of power when you feel that your body is capable of anything. A series of injuries forced me to contact a personal trainer for injury prevention purposes and exercise inspiration. I'm also pursuing my NASM CPT and dietitian certifications.
